July 2018 Print Contest

Description: I didn't have much (really any) printer-time available, during the competition window, but really wanted to enter to help lift the idea off the ground! I knew that I'd never have a hope of producing top level surface quality etc. etc. when printing at 50% scale, 0.3mm layers, 0% infill, maxed out speeds... So, to cover that up, I Voxellised the model. Voxel size was based off the tip-size of the standard Prusa-pliers, so I could pull out supports from between them. Printed in just under 4h, support removal took about 20min, mainly because I wasn't at all careful! I'm just happy to be here 🙂
